Focus: The Design School Graduation Exhibition

The Design School Graduation Exhibition is a place where many minds come together to show their work, attract professionals for their post-graduation career, and present their year-long research. The exhibition molds together 11 disciplines and 300 students under one space and under one brand.

Focus is my response to the challenge of branding a whole school. Taking inspiration from my classmates’ love of photography, I played with the typography of the word Focus to make it seem as if we’re getting closer and more clear. The tagline, Zero in on the New Faces of Design relates to the focus of a camera and the fact that if you come closer to the poster, all 300 students’ names are easily discoverable in the poster, as long as you’re looking.
